Our Story
Solara Photo Booths was founded by Simi, an Ontario-based public servant with a passion for photography and travel. Through her travels, she developed a deeper appreciation for photography, an appreciation that became even more meaningful after her grandfather passed away following a long battle with dementia.
His passing made her realize how often we take photographs for granted, and how important they are in preserving the moments and memories we share with the people we love.
From the very beginning, Simi's vision for Solara was never simply to build a photo booth rental business. It was to create guest experiences that live beyond the event.
The photo booth is simply the medium that brings those moments to life. The printed photographs become tangible keepsakes that guests can take home, display, and cherish long after the celebration has ended.
Solara is the physical manifestation of Simi's belief that the moments worth celebrating deserve to be remembered.
