My Story
I’m Simi, an Ontario-based public servant with a passion for photography and travel, and the founder of Solara Photo Booths.
Through my travels, I developed a deeper appreciation for photography- an appreciation that became even more meaningful after my grandfather passed away following a long battle with dementia.
His passing made me realize how often we take photographs for granted, and how important they are in preserving the moments and memories we share with the people we love.
From the very beginning, my vision for Solara was never simply to build a photo booth rental business. It was to create a guest experience that lives beyond the event.
The photo booth is simply the medium that brings these moments to life, while the printed photographs become tangible keepsakes that guests can take home, display, and cherish long after the celebration has ended.
Solara is the physical manifestation of my belief that the moments worth celebrating deserve to be remembered.
